Wow!, being a teacher is amazing! I am a Kindergarten teacher in Indianapolis, IN. I am a teacher because I believe in making a difference in the lives of the children I teach. I am passionate about what I do! I want my students to excel to their highest levels of potential. I want my students to be life-long learners. As their teacher, I want to provide them with the tools they need to be successful in life.
Being a teacher is one of the most amazing jobs because we get to touch little lives in the most possible way. I was recently at the mall and I was approached by a young man. He said, "Is your name Mrs. Watts?", I said, "Yes!" He went on to say that I taught him in Kindergarten and he wanted to say thank you for teaching him. I was appreciative and walked away smiling.
