My students are so creative! They like to have art to do every week to give them time to express themselves. I love giving them one idea to paint then letting them go. We put all the paintings together and discuss them. We point out all kinds of things about whose paintings have similarities and who ran with the idea in a different direction. They love to bring paintings home to share with their families. The best moments are when they let go and see themselves as artists.
