At the beginning of this year I was teaching 4th grade at another school. Unfortunately two weeks in we were told we were over staffed by one teacher and since I was lowest on the seniority list I had to say goodbye to my students and move to another school. Another school needed an added kindergarten class so I became a kindergarten teacher. My first year ever teaching kindergarten, so I didn't have many things to contribute to a kinder classroom. The school couldn't provide me with a rug that would benefit my students simply because of funding. My students this year are struggling with personal space and keeping their hands to themselves. The other teachers have the rug that I am requesting and it seems to really help with classroom management. I really feel that this rug would help my students.
