My amazing students love to have fun while they learn. Hands-on learning is the best! Whether it's stepping up safely to the white board to do an interactive lesson with classmates, or independent learning with academic games or teacher made centers in different areas of the classroom. Having students from kindergarten to fourth grade means different sized students and sometimes they need a boost up to reach the white board. The step stool would be a perfect addition to our classroom. Flexible seating is also important for students who have trouble sitting in the hard student chairs or on the hard floor. This is my first year teaching so I am always on the lookout for additional hands-on learning activities to reinforce skills that are being taught. Printing and preparing these materials on cardstock and adding Velcro to secure pieces can become costly, but they are so important. All of these materials are very important to the needs of all of my special learners!
