My students love hands-on-learning opportunities through the science and math activities. A typical day in my classroom is filled with technology. We would love to have a two to one ratio of students to Chromebooks to encourage authentic technology use in the classroom. Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future. Donations will help to improve my classroom by helping to keep students engaged in learning and collaborating globally through online learning. Having technology access, will allow students to practice math and science skills at differentiated levels. Various programs and projects can accommodate all levels of learning, in my classroom, to engage students at their personal level. They will continue to feel successful and proud that they are able to understand and continue to learn skills that will help them in the future. My students will be able to use the Samsung Chromebooks in partner groups for many different activities that include that often include the following: Google Classroom assignments, collaborative projects, research, presentations, quizzes, vocabulary, interactive movie projects, charting lab graphs and data analysis, etc. The possibilities are endless with the right resources and these amazing children deserve that opportunity!
