I am a sixth grade Literacy teacher at a high poverty and high needs middle school. We have an extremely diverse population and the needs of our students are great. Due to lack of funding, it is often difficult to fulfill these needs. I am about to embark on my eighteenth year at this school. My biggest passion is helping my struggling or non-readers find that right book that transforms them into life-long readers.
