The past couple of years our students in the Applied Skills and Life Skills programs have participated in a "Snack Cart" style business. They offer prepackaged snacks to teachers and staff - an amazing, real-life, socially interactive experience. It has been phenomenal watching our students with mild to severe disabilities do such amazing things with their student-led business. With a plan to offer personalized shirts, binders, mugs and other items, our students want to expand their Student-Led Business. With these items, our students will plan, design, create, and then sell personalized items to the Teachers and Staff at our middle school. They will utilize skills that teach personal responsibility, communication, critical thinking, innovation, leadership, and collaboration.

About my class
