Some students already know who they want to become when they grow up. The Future Health Professions class will assist my students in solidifying their passion to help others. In this class, students will learn the different concepts associated with a career in the healthcare industry. For example, the anatomical models will be used to provide a visual and an interactive means of learning about the functions of the heart, brain and the rest of the human body. My students will have the opportunity to 'do' while learning the concepts related to the basic functions of anatomy and physiology.
My students have been given the opportunity to pave their future, beginning at the middle school level, so that they may be better prepared for the rigor of their medical path into high school.
