As a special education teacher, many of the students I work with have a multitude of different individualized needs. Our school is located In one of the lowest income neighborhoods in the entire country, however, it is an incredible place that is striving to make positive changes in the community. As a charter school, we receive less per student in state funds than a public school. We may have many things that benefit our students in the classroom, but I need your help to get my struggling students the materials they need so we can work in small groups and provide more intense and individualized instruction.
