The "Who Was", "What Was", "What Is", "Who Is" book series is a number one pick in my classroom. I have 60 students, and when given the opportunity, they devour these books! The most incredible part of this series is they keep the kids wanting more! The kids are able to escape to the Galapagos Islands, live in the Ice Age, and see the world through the eyes and experiences of people that have changed history in one way or another. They learn about Civil Rights, the Presidential Election, and the Women's Right's Movement. They learn what it was like to grow up during the Great Depression, what it's like to work at NASA, and how it feels to sing like Stevie Wonder! Not only will your donation enrich my students now, but future students will benefit as well.
