I teach at a Spanish/English dual-immersion urban public elementary school. This means that students are either already bilingual, Spanish learners, or English learners. These kids come from very different backgrounds, but with biliteracy and bilingualism as our founding roots, we can unite our diverse population of students, closing the achievement gap. My school is always striving to add enrichment to our curriculum as well as raise the academic rigor for all. I am proud to say that I work here because I truly believe I am helping students grow into fuller adults. Thank you for believing in them too!
