Each issue comes with powerful teaching tools and it will support me while teaching ELA, Science, and Social Studies. My students need more nonfiction reading material to help them connect to the world around them. Scholastic News articles generate interest, conversation, and debate in the classroom. With a variety of text structures, video clips, and follow-up activities provided, it's an essential resource for teaching nonfiction reading. My students will enjoy reading about current events and how it effects them.
