With a colored printer, my students will be able to find things that inspire them and have it be printed and help motivate them in the room. Unfortunately, at my school we do not have a colored printer in the building, so there is no way to give the students a bright room. In any classroom, color can make all the difference. Without a color printer, my students won't have as much joy as they would when coming into a brightly colored room with signs and positive quotes that will help them believe in themselves.
I believe that no matter where a student comes from, they always deserve to have the best. I am trying to give them this by creating an engaging and child centered classroom. The lessons will be able to come alive when they can see the various colors that birds can be; or how when reading a text the bright and colorful pictures will help them understand the meaning of the text and give them clues to be better readers.
