The program my students are enrolled to is a Magnet Program in a Title I school, with a 90% of minorities in the program, 90% of disadvantage social-economic families, but with a very successful performance. Students in our program come from difference areas in the city, some of them very far from the school. Our program is very rigorous, taking our students in many cases AP level classes (college level classes taught in high school) as the first and only class on the subject. In these classes, for example, my AP Chemistry class, the students enter with the knowledge they got in their middle school and reach a college level in a single year.
