My students are a pleasure to teach. While I leave work often exhausted, I feel privileged to teach such wonderful 8th graders. Our school has 450 students and we primarily serve the East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights community. Our teachers uphold a growth mindset approach to education as we prepare our students not only for high school, but for higher education. All staff emphasize the importance of reading.
