My students are an energetic bunch who come to school eager to learn. These students are at an age where learning is fun and the world is an exciting place to think and wonder. I want to create an environment that provides comfort and free choice to foster their imagination. My students are book reading gurus who enjoy sharing their reading experiences! I am constantly amazed and proud of all my students for their love of reading. It is one of my favorite moments when I observe them discussing their favorite author, book series, and characters. My school is a Title One school and some of my students can't afford the at-home resources to be successful. I want to make their school experiences so enjoyable that they fall deeper in love with reading.
