As I move on to teaching high school and older kids, I would love to update and improve my classroom library. So many students are disinterested in independent reading or reading for fun and my goal is to change that! With an improved classroom library I can provide the students with a wide variety of book choices that are diverse, popular and relevant to their life. It is important for students to feel represented in and connected to books if we want them to read and enjoy it. I have done a lot of research and selected a large variety of books that are modern, relevant and cover many different topics, conflicts and genres the students would be interested in. Please help me fill my classroom with books my students will love!

About my class
