My students are from a low socioeconomic community. Our school is a Program Improvement school and about 80% of our students receive a free or reduced lunch. Although we do live in a big city, many of our students still come to school with limited life experiences. They tend to stay within the 2 block radius of the school. Some students have never even traveled out of town. If my students can't go out into the world, I want to bring the world to them. Please join me in introducing the world to my students through the different hands-on subject areas that will help prepare them to become a well rounded person. Help them to be the best that they can be so that they become positive contributors to not only our community but to the world around us.
