The iPads will make a world of difference in my classroom. My students will use them to explore the online world of reading instruction during center time. They will be able to view instructional videos that teach them sounds, sight words and much more. They will be able to play reading games and will see that video games can be educational and fun.
A donation to this project will increase my students' academic achievement. The exploration of the world will be endless. When we read books on certain topics, like tigers, the students will be able to view videos and read stories about tigers. They will get to see the tigers living in their natural environment. The students will be able to make connections that have never been made before.
The students will also be able to use the iPads to play math games, view math videos and keep up with the current trends in technology. With technological advances coming and going so fast, this project will allow my students to have the same opportunities as children in more advantaged areas. This will help them to be successful in achieving their dreams and making a difference in our world!
