Each week, over 500 students enter my classroom where we explore music through a variety of mediums, including speech, movement, singing and playing instruments. My students range in age from kindergarten through 5th grade and come to class in groups of 20-25 students at a time. They are all eager, energetic and enthusiastic to learn about and make music! Over the course of the school year, students are musical learners, creators, and consumers. We take risks, innovate, create, and collaborate. There is never a dull moment in our classroom! Our room is spacious and welcoming, but we are still working on adding instruments and supplies to enhance our musical experiences.
