My students need flexible seating in order to better focus on the material in the classroom. Research shows that students who are able to move while they are working are better able to focus and also work core muscles that could be underdeveloped. Flexible seating will also provide my students with power in the classroom by allowing them to choose their own type of seating. I have chosen many different options such as the wobble stools, yoga balls, and floor mats to give the students a variety of different options in the classroom to choose from. This will allow the students the opportunity to find a seat that best fits the way they like to learn. I hope by providing students with these different options they are able to better focus in the classroom while also developing underdeveloped muscles.
