By using mini laptops, my shy students, the ones who usually don't say much or anything in group discussions, will be able to share their thoughts, ideas, answers and responses via CANVAS, an interactive website for forums, discussions, quizzes and much more! Also, they will be able to do research and learn new vocabulary, sounds, reading and writing strategies that will help them to achieve success. Right now, they need to stop at the hall to get the laptops they will need for my class, connect them and start working. This takes 15 minutes of their classes, which is 30 minutes. They will be ready to work in no time when they have their own laptops in the classroom. There are lots of websites and lots of resources they will benefit from.
