In third grade math, we learn using manipulatives, music, and lots of movement! The energy in our classroom is evident in the work that we do together in whole group, in centers, and in our small groups. From the time students walk in the door, they are energetic, curious and excited about their learning.
I teach three classes of a total of 50 energetic bilingual students in a Title 1 school in a community deemed highest poverty. Most of my students receive free or reduced lunch, and many live in nearby apartment complexes where getting around without a car isn't possible. Trips to the local park and our public library are few and far between. I submit Ðǿմ«Ã½ projects in hopes of bringing books, technology and learning experiences to my third graders with your help.
