I teach 4th grade in a high poverty school with an incredibly diverse population. My students come from all walks of life, but they all walk into my classroom eager to learn and explore. While funding is decreasing and class sizes are increasing, it is a struggle to provide my students with everything they need. But I feel lucky to teach in a school that values diversity, equity, and preparing ALL students for a successful future.
