My students are amazing young people. Many of our students living within walking distance to our school, right in the heart of Detroit.
My kids have such joy and promise in an environment that can often seem bleak. Funding should not hinder my students from having the opportunity to be the brightest and best. It is my mission to provide them the same opportunities and exposure that they would have if they lived and attended school in an affluent area.
Opening their world to experiences allows them to dream big, reach high, and achieve their goals.
