The mission of the STEM Academy is to provide students with a rigorous, relevant curriculum of academic study that will advance their knowledge in the areas of science, technology, and other branches of scholarship, empowering them to become college and career-ready and prepared to work in the twenty-first century. A STEM education is an interdisciplinary approach to learning where students apply concepts from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to real-world problems. This process creates logical, perceptive, and independent thinkers who can apply these innovative, problem-solving skills to multiple aspects of their learning environment. I teach dreamers and innovators. They get excited about writing, want me to read every sentence after it hits the paper, and want to share.
