I teach heterogeneously grouped eighth graders in a large city. They come from various socioeconomic status. I have been teaching there since it was a junior high and became a middle school. I feel that I have great kids. Some of those kids have troubled home lives and some do not. STEAM activities and project based learning are the way of the future. I try my very best for every child in my classroom to be successful and learn science in the most up to date manner. I try so hard to bring in technology and activities where they all can succeed.
