As a teacher in an urban, diverse school I want to build a classroom that nurtures my students' natural curiosity and supports their learning through a variety of learning modalities. Many of my students come from low-income households, and over 80% receive free/reduced lunch. With my students facing many obstacles outside of school, it is essential that we make the most of our learning time together in our classroom.
