Having a set of stools for flexible seating will help the Kinders focus more when learning to read during our Guided Reading groups. While sitting in regular chairs, five- and six-year-old children move their little bodies constantly which, in turn, makes many fall out of them. If they had these stools which allow children to gently rock, they could purposely move around in their seats while focusing on their learning. The stools will also help the students build up their core muscles since they will need to sit up in order to balance on them. The stools will make their learning even more fun!
