I am very fortunate to teach Pre-K at Waterbridge Elementary in Orlando, Florida. My students are 4 years old. They come to school ready to start building the foundations of their learning. I have a morning and afternoon session, which means I teach 40 students with different interests and abilities. They are eager to explore and learn in many different ways even though many of them don't speak English.
The students make every minute count and they are becoming lifelong learners on the road to reaching their dreams.
Their school day is only 3 hours so they need to get the most of every learning experience I can offer them. We start learning from the moment class starts. Some of the things we learn about are the alphabet, numbers, how to write our name, and beginning sight words. The favorite part of our day is listening to stories and playing. We're adventurous and kind and ready to be the best kids we can be!
