I am human geography teacher. In my classroom, I want to create an atmosphere to stimulate brain activity and foster skills like communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. My students are full of energy and willing to try new things. They love the ability to use technology as a tool for learning and creating. I want to help their transition and engage them in the learning. We are fortunate enough to have Chromebooks for all of our students which they take home daily. My students are of diverse ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. We have about 1500 students with 70% of our students are living in poverty. Our students live in an urban area. It allows the ability to have access to needs nearby but also a large major of the students live in good desserts.
