I foster an environment where student-formulated math discourse thrives. My mission is to bridge content knowledge gaps and empower students to think and to execute solutions to complex, non-routine problems. With 135 students engaged on A days and another distinct set of 135 students on B days, Gr6,7,8 students tackle an array of mathematical concepts, including rational number operations, while also exploring more advanced topics such as mean standard deviation, probability and solving for unknowns in single-variable equations. Students learn to interpret observed phenomena in tables, graphs, and equations. Your generous donation of ANY SIZE will help bring THE FUN to Mathematics by applying learning to a robotics center. This will allow our multilingual /Title 1/ free and reduced lunch students to integrate hands-on experiences in our group rotation and see that Mathematics is a cool STEM tool! Please, Thank you!
