The donated supply caddies and matching trays will provide early childhood special education students an organized area for their learning space when they are learning virtually and when they return to the classroom. Supplying each student with a color coded caddie and tray is a more sanitized way of providing learning equipment in the classroom (each student will have a place for their own glue, crayons, scissors, pencils etc.) The color coordinated trays will be used for sensory activities, such as salt writing, play dough, finger painting, etc. The supply caddies and trays will provide an organized place for parents to keep the learning supplies for their child. The caddies that each student uses at home for virtual learning will be duplicated in the classroom to prepare for the transition back to school.
