Within our class schedule in our middle school, we have a unique block of time called WIN, which stands for Whatever I Need. Students are sorted based on their educational requirements.
The science teachers run an exciting, engaging class that takes students beyond the regular classroom activities. Other activities that we run include K'Nex roller coasters and experimental design, as well as criminal forensics by solving a murder mystery. By adding Lego Mindstorms to our curriculum, we can focus on coding and additional technological skills. The ultimate plan is to begin a club within the school that can compete in the Lego Mindstorms leagues.
