I teach at an urban high school in a very large city. We are a neighborhood (non selective admission) school which serves an extremely diverse population. Most of our students receive a reduced or free lunch. My students are awesome and inspiring. They are motivated to learn music and have fun. In addition to guitar class during the school day, we have kids who stay after school every day to jam, practice, learn and commiserate.
