Last year we were privileged to have six Chromebooks in our classroom daily. Daily access to technology resources changed the way we did "business" in our class and increased my students' knowledge and skills. My team supports all the 7th grade ELL students. Last year my English learners grew exponentially with access to native language instructional resources. I was able to differentiate, remediate, and extend for all students. And while students were actively engaged, I could pull students who needed individual assistance.
My school has a wide variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. It is difficult to even the playing field with technology. Some students have devices and others do not. My aim with this project is to be able to further differentiate and individualize lessons for my students through the online platform in my county with these five Chromebooks and headphones.
