These dry erase white board films will be placed on the tables in the classroom so students can collaborate with peers to find answers to math problems. Math is all about the process, and in giving the students a place to freely write down and show their thinking, I will be able to see their process and their thinking. I've also seen that my students learn better when they collaborate with their peers and get a different point of view. These dry erase white board films will help me to help students right then and there, rather than having to wait until they have turned in a paper. Another student, or I, could point out a mistake before the student gets to the end of the problem, resulting in an incorrect answer. My students will love being able to "write on their desks."
