My students struggle with the ability to sit still in class and stay engaged with the math lessons. Flexible seating options will help my students take control of their learning. I want to create an environment that is conducive to motivate students to WANT to learn. My building principal agrees that flexible seating is a great option to encourage my students to be more engaged in learning. It has been fully approved by my principal.
During this pandemic with the back and forth between in school learning and distance/virtual learning, students have struggled to get comfortable with being back in a traditional classroom. Most students have been learning from the comforts of home, on the couch, bed, floor, and anywhere comfy or cozy. Traditional seating in the classroom is not the best option for every student. Flexible seating will allow my students to make the choice of how they will learn best.
