Classrooms in Hawaii are very tight. I want to create an open space for my students to thrive and feel open to explore and create. With these hearth rugs, we’ll be engaged in book discussions or Socratic thinking together as we utilize this new learning space. Our carpets will give us ample room to experiment with STEM and MakerSpace in larger scales. We’ll even use this carpet area to spread out and play during the heavy rainy season. These carpets will be used to tie our classroom space together and we’ll be more connected as a classroom community as a result.
