I am a first year teacher in need of books for our classroom library. I have received some of the previous teachers books but it is not enough. There are serious gaps in certain genres and subjects crucial to students finding a “just right” book. With this library, students will become engaged in meaningful reading and writing opportunities. These books will introduce them to a wide variety of genres and subjects within the second grade reading range. In addition several selections are devoted to our English Language Learners. So please help a new teacher provide an educational experience to children in need of good books. Thank you for your time and contributions.
