The boys on our soccer team are from grades 9-12, and come to me from some of the lowest income areas of the city. Most are on free and reduced lunch, and many can barely afford the right equipment to play sports. Despite their setbacks, these boys show up on time and work very hard. My dedicated team enjoys practice, and have a strong desire to get better, while also building a brotherhood with their teammates. Their love for the game and each other are inspiring.
