My students are tech whizzes! We use iPads, technological tools for math, reading, and phonics, and interactive SMART boards in our daily lessons. Kindergartners are most attentive when they are out of their seats, sharing ideas, and thinking outside the box.
I long to take their learning a level higher. My students love to explore and create. Students as young as Pre-K are discovering coding in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) labs held in my school's library.
Dash and Dot are real robots that react to voice and coding navigation. These two robots and the pack's attachments will allow my students to code Dash and Dot to interact, play music, move in a planned path and complete a task such as throwing a ball at the correct sight word.
I was blessed to test the Dash and Dot Wonder Pack at the national technology conference I attended this February. I am excited by the opportunities to introduce it in my classroom.
