My PreK - 5th Elementary school has 850+ students and is located in one of the poorest neighborhoods in our city of 400,000+. Our free and reduced lunch is 98%+. Despite the obstacles that these kids have to overcome everyday, they come to PE excited, attentive, and ready to learn! I love my students and want to teach them activities and skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. Our school is very dedicated to health and wellness and providing the kids with good nutrition and fitness options.
