Books are so important, they give students joy and learning. Reading books improves vocabulary, knowledge, social-emotional development, and so much more. As a first year teacher, I dream of building a classroom library for my students to indulge in, to discover and read to their heart’s content. I would love to provide my students with the adventures they crave through the books they read once we are back in our classroom.
My desire is for our classroom library to be a place that students truly enjoy and love, a place where they can dive into the world of books, stories, and adventure. Every book in my classroom will be available for students to take home to keep reading and exploring.
