I teach in Long Beach Unified; and am currently teaching kindergarten to 30 students from all over the city. Students at Prisk are enthusiastic, kind, and motivated to learn. The school population is made up of over 1/3 low-income families. Despite rising home prices in Southern California, competitive job markets and time-consuming parenting families in this area manage to make school a priority for their children. I want to keep abreast of the best and most effective professional development to be a part of this successful team environment.

About my class
