My students live in the inner city amidst an industrial neighborhood where poverty and high school drop out rates are prevalent. My students attend a Title I school and they all qualify for free or reduced lunch. Some of my students lack educational support at home, but despite all these hardships they attend school with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn daily.
