Welcome to our Donors Choose Page! I teach a special education multi-age emotional disabilities classroom. We are a very special group of teachers and assistants working to increase our students' self-esteem, social development, and school work habits to help ensure they have the tools to be successful in school and beyond. In addition to learning core curriculum; we create projects, explore the community, and learn about strategies to be emotionally and behaviorally respectful with others. Often school has been a consistent source of frustration for my students. In our program we work very hard to ensure that our students feel loved, supported, smart, and safe. We often celebrate by saying, "kiss your brain" or giving high fives. Thank you for stopping by!
