This will provide resources for our 6th grade students who are reading two or more grade levels below their target grade level.
These students receive targeted instruction from a reading teacher and complete guided reading and reading comprehension strategies to help them improve in their reading skills.
We assess students progress every other week to monitor their growth. Our goal is by the end of 8th grade we have as many students as possible reading at or close to grade level.
Having good readings and resources are essential to our program's success.
