Help give my students flexible seating options that will help them thrive within our classroom! This project will give our classroom outlets for our energy so that we can channel it to grow as learners and leaders in our classroom.
We are looking to add flexible bands and wiggle seats for our chairs and floor chairs to give everyone a way to keep themselves focused on their task at hand, learning. We will use these items to give everyone in the classroom a chance to take ownership in the way they want to situate themselves while they learn. Right now we have a few items and so many of the students want to use the few items that it can often become an issue between friends. These additional items will give everyone in the classroom options to focus their energy on their learning and not in keeping themselves still in their seats. The students will be able to choose floor options, wiggling options and standing options in our classroom. This will really help us to do our best learning!
