My students are first graders in a Pennsylvania public school that is located in one of the most cultural diverse communities in the city. More that 75% of our students are economically disadvantaged. Most are 1st generation Americans who struggle with the English language and lack support in English at home. They are enthusiastic and are just discovering the world of learning. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts we do not have the technology to engage and accommodate the various levels and learning styles of our students. They deserve to have the same learning experiences that other students have in more affluent school districts.
About my class
